Myth : scrubbing the skin using wash cloth ,sponges or gritty exfoliants helps remove dark spots

Fact: inflammation actually triggers your skin to produce pigment .scrubbing with harsh productswill typically make skin discoloration worse not better

Myth: I have really bad patches of pigment after having my baby ,so I will only get rid of it if I use the strongest products available

Fact: : the discoloration associated with pregnany is called melasma  and harsh products may actually make it worse
Gentle products with multiple lightning ingredients are best

Myth : once I get rid of my skin discoloration is it gone for good?

Fact: people who are prone to skin discoloration can always develope more .daily use of products that suppress the pigment producing process will maintain results
